Creation and Evolution is a great subject that perhaps makes us uncomfortable to say the least. Perhaps a “Christian” decides to escape the controversy and possible conflict and shy from the subject all together. Blind faith might be more plausible to some either lacking interest or confidence in their ability understand the scientific talk. Good news is that Romans 1 says that God didn’t leave Himself without evidence: “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse” . That’ s you, if you are an A- or Anti-theist, perhaps indignant or put out when you met someone so “weak and unintelligent” (that’ s what I was taught in school) that holds to the biblical creation or just to even the idea of the existence of God, and “has the audacity to call it science”! I hope that you have questions, and are prepared to study and research more. Of course the Bible says – seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be open to you. So, there is hope for you! I should know. At one point I was an atheist. It was a far from an easy “conversion” (what would be that conversion factor? feet to inches, atheism to Christianity) for me. As an ex-soviet patriot, I’ve never even heard of creation period or considered it a scientific possibility in my days of school and college. So take advantage, if you will, of the information that is provided here to be able to approach this controversy with all the available tools to make your one educated decision.
